William has announced his resignation as Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Suffolk County.

“I will continue to do all I can for the Suffolk County Libertarian Party, however, I have reached the age where I can sell my business and retire.”

The Libertarian Party is the 3rd largest party in America. Van Helmond, 59, was appointed as Suffolk County Libertarian Party Chairman after running for the New York State Assembly on the Libertarian line, Row F.

“The Suffolk County Libertarian Party has increased greatly during my term. I am very proud of the gains I have made to increase the Party, and for the efforts we have made to organize food and coat drives to interact and assist our communities. I have always tried to do more with less.”

His resignation as Chairman takes effect on December 31, 2021.
